Guest Reviews & Ratings
My stay at this hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were nice, though not as luxurious as I had experienced in the past. The smell of old cigarettes was a drawback. The service was friendly, with the staff making great cocktails and being accommodating. The location was convenient with plenty of nearby restaurants and amenities. The dining experience was good, but the prices were on the higher side.
During our stay at the hotel, we found the location to be great for exploring nearby attractions and easy access to the convention center via the sky bridge. The rooms, while spacious and modern, unfortunately lacked heating during a cold Michigan winter and could have been cleaner. The service was exceptional, with thoughtful staff accommodating our needs during the ArtPrize event. The dining experience at Wolfgang Puck's restaurant was delightful, offering a variety of fresh and delicious options. The facilities were satisfactory, though there were a few minor issues that affected our overall enjoyment.
Upon arrival, my room wasn't ready at 5 pm as expected, and it looked nothing like the picture I booked online. However, the staff was very friendly, helpful, and caring. The location was great for exploring downtown, with easy access to restaurants and shopping, but it could be a bit chaotic at times. The dining experience at the lobby cafe was tasty but a bit pricey. Overall, the stay had its ups and downs.
